After more than 24 years of building and development, the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) has been specified its position and role in an open market economy and integration. SAV has conducted thousands of audits in different scale at the units using state budget on all fields. Audit results show that the use of state budget in localities, ministries, departments and units has been improved and in compliance with state standards; financial disciplines and efficiency in state budget management has been improved. SAV’s auditing quality has been upgrading continuously in effectiveness and efficiency, which has many outstanding results.
Hanoi, September 23 – Auditor General of the State Audit of Vietnam (SAV) Ho Duc Phoc has vowed to take more concrete actions to foster cooperation within the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in a bid to bring into fully play the potential of its members and take it to a new height.

On the sidelines of the 14th Assembly of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (the 14th ASOSAI Assembly), in the afternoon of 22nd September, the State Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc held talks with Mrs. Hu Zejun, Auditor General of National Audit Office of China (CNAO).
Hanoi, September 22 (VNA) –The 53rd meeting of the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI)’s Governing Board took place in Hanoi on September 22 under the co-chair of Ho Duc Phoc, the new Chair of the association, and Secretary General Hu Zejun.
